Valid from 08/30/2019

Your privacy is important to us and we ensure that we process all of our customers' data with the utmost care.

What personal data do we collect?

While visiting our website, contacting us, registering for our newsletter or purchasing our products and services, we collect and process personal data, among other things. Which personal data we use for what depends on the associated service. For example, we need your name, address and payment information and possibly other information in order to deliver a product or service purchased on our website. When ordering a gift subscription, we also need information from third parties (the person receiving the gift).

Cookies

This site uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device by the Internet browser. Your browser accesses these files. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness and security of our website. Cookies contain a characteristic string of characters that enables the browser to be clearly identified when the website is called up again. Some elements of our website require that the calling browser can also be identified after changing pages.

The following data is stored and transmitted in the cookies:

  • Items in your shopping cart

  • Log-in information

Common browsers offer the setting option not to allow cookies. Note: There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if you make the appropriate settings.

Analysis tools

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyze website usage by users. The service uses "cookies"  (See explanation above). The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization is used on our website. The IP address of the user is shortened within the member states of the European Economic Area. This abbreviation eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. As part of the contract data agreement, which the website operators have concluded with Google Inc., Google Inc. uses the information collected to compile an evaluation of website usage and website activity and provides services related to internet usage. You have the option of preventing the storage of cookies on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser.

You can also use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. The following link takes you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

You can find more information on Google Analytics and data protection at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de  or http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html

We use a Facebook pixel for the advanced analysis of website usage. This is an analysis tool offered by Facebook Inc., which helps us to measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertising in social media (specifically Instagram and Facebook). It also helps us to display targeted advertising to Facebook users who have shown an interest in our online offer through their actions.

If you do not want advertising created by the Facebook pixel to be displayed to you via the above-mentioned channels, you can object to this use by following the following instructions from Facebook: https://www.facebook.com / ads / preferences /? entry_product = ad_settings_screen

Order process

All data entered by customers in the course of order processing are saved. This includes:

-     Name first Name

The data that are absolutely necessary for delivery or order processing can be passed on to third party service providers. In order to enable this service in particular, data exchange with our partners is necessary (e.g. name and order details). If the retention of your data is no longer necessary or required by law, it will be deleted.
